English Victorian Cast Iron Over Mantle Mirror
About the Item
A Victorian, cast iron Over Mantle Mirror.
This would have been placed over/ built into a cast iron mantlepiece.
With decorative moulding, rope twist detail around the mirror with a shapely pediment.
We have 2 of these which were removed from a house in Somerset, both oth have been stored for over 25 years.
One has had more access to the weather and has a slightly differnt colouration due to rusting.
England, circa 1890.

Depth - 4.5 cm
