A Very Fine and Unusual 19th Century Compartmental Overmantle Mirror
About the Item
A very fine and unusual 19th Century compartmental overmantle mirror. The two mirror glass plates of rectangular form are set within a fabulously hand carved moulded and reeded giltwood frame surmounted with a breakfront stepped overhanging cornice with egg and dart motif detail and with further fabulous foliate border detail throughout.
One glass panel has been replaced.
