Antique Giltwood Pier Mirror
About the Item
Attractive French gilded wall mirror, having original glass with minor foxing stamped 1898, in giltwood frame carved with ‘les pearls’ which symbolises strand of pearls, and leaf and floral motifs throughout, all adorned with an elaborately carved pierced crest with richly carved scrolls draping on each side. This antique mirror retains its original glass, original gilt (with minor touching up over the years) and original backboards. Fitted with 4 wall brackets it is ready to place at home. 1898.
