French Vintage Midcentury Giltwood Convex Sunburst Mirror with Undulating Rays

A French vintage giltwood convex sunburst mirror from the mid-20th century, with alternating rays. Born in France during the midcentury period, this exquisite sunburst mirror features a convex mirror plate, surrounded by a circular molding from which extend sunrays alternating sinuous and straight lines. The result is one of elegance and liveliness, the delicate red undertone complimenting the golden hue perfectly while the various rays give a sense of depth to the ensemble. With its radiating presence, convex mirror plate and nice proportions, this French vintage sunburst mirror circa 1950 will enliven any wall beautifully.
