French 1950s Giltwood Sunburst Mirror, Large Scale
Unique large scale (121 cm diameter / 47,6 in diameter) Baroque style carved wood gold leaf gilt sunburst mirror.
Rare find due to its size.
This oversized sunburst mirror features a wood carved round frame surrounding the round beveled glass. Alternating rays in two sizes with a central richly carved scalloped ring surrounding the glass. It has a nice aged patina showing its original gold leaf finishing.
Spectacular to be placed as wall mirror or console mirror in a main room, entryway, foyer or living room.
Overall measures: 121 cm diameter x 6 cm D // 47,63 in diameter x 2,36 in H
