Outstanding carved giltwood sunburst starburst mirror, France, 1930s-1940s.
Large gilded sunburst mirror with design reminiscences in the manner of Gilbert Poillerat.
French Modern Neoclassical with Baroque style accents.
This sunburst mirror features a wood carved round frame surrounding the circular glass. A layer of rays in different sizes with a central richly carved ring surrounding the glass. It has a nice aged patina showing its original gold leaf finishing.
Spectacular to be placed as wall mirror or console mirror in a main room, entryway, foyer or living room. Also interesting placed as a part of a sunburst mirrors wall composition.
