Gold Leaf Giltwood Sunburst Convex Mirror with Mirror Inlays, Spain, 1930s-1940s.
One of a Kind Hand Carved Giltwood Sunburst Mirror with convex glass.
Rare find.
This wall mirror features a heavily carved giltwood frame made of a layer of foliage rays with mirror inlay details. The ring surrounding the central glass has a carved decorative pattern.
It has a dramatic aged patina showing its original gold leaf gilding.
Manufactured at the Art Deco period in the style of Spanish Baroque.
Place it alone or as a part of a mirror wall composition with other sunburst or starburst mirrors in different sizes.
