17th Century English Walnut Mirror With Original Glass, Small Scale

About the Item

Sweet little carved walnut 17th century English Jacobean period mirror frame with the original glass. This simple small frame exudes character, with the unusual rounded corners and lovely molding. Best is the rich honey patina that only comes from age and handling. Retains the original glass and back and even some of the original hand wrought nails that hold the back in place. That this has survived this long is a miracle, and in such wonderful condition. 12.25 by 10.25 inches
