1970s German Hillebrand Leuchten Illuminated Back Lit Glass Wall Mirror
About the Item
1970s German, Hillebrand Lighting, illuminated, backlit, lucite-framed, circular, mirrored-glass wall mirror. The circular glass mirror is surrounded by a frosted-iced lucite frame. The mirror screws onto the frame leaving a gap around it for the light to sine through. The back of the frame is white laminate which the light reflects off and through the lucite ribbed frame.
The frame holds 5 interspersed small screw in E14 light bulbs. I would recommend LED bulbs because of their longevity and environmental benefits. In good vintage condition with some small surface scratches/blemishes to the original mirror which can be replaced if you wish but I personally don't think it's necessary.
The wiring has been checked by an electrician and is in full working order.
A beautiful mirror which is perfect for above a mantlepiece or in a hallway. It can be hardwired into a wall or plugged into a socket.
