19th Century French Antique Napoleon III Repousse Metal Wall Mirrors Set of 3.
Elegant French antique wood and beveled mirror, a Napoleonic era frame with a central beveled mercury mirror, four mirrors on the sides and rich metal burnished embossed metal ornamentation.
Louis XIV style, Napoleon III - 19th century period, circa 1870s.
Hand crafted in France, circa 1870, the elegant antique wall hanging mirrors are decorated with intricate repousse decor .
The center mirror features the original beveled mercury glass with inset smaller mirrors around the periphery, and embellished with flower rosette medallions around the frame. A wonderful addition to any interiors.
Baroque style mirrors with beveled central glass and gold burnished metal frame with embossed, sculptural decoration.
The raised designs were handcrafted using a technique known as “Repoussé” in which the metal was shaped by hammering from the reverse side, creating decorative elements in low relief when viewed from the front.
The small sizes of these mirrors makes them a perfect accent pieces use them as a grouping on the same wall or in a powder room.
The overlay mirror is in excellent condition with its original beveled mercury glass and rich patinated finish.
Highly decorative artwork that can be placed in any room of the house, in fact, the antique mirrors have the ability to transform a room, giving character and creating interesting and engaging perspective illusions.
The mirrors' imperfections, small stains, and their surface veiled patina attest to its antiquity and authenticity.
Handmade in France in the years circa 1800-1890.

The back of the mirrors have a metal plaque with Hand Made in France and one has a small paper label
