19th Century French Louis Philippe Giltwood Mirror with Crest
About the Item
A gorgeous antique French Louis Philippe gilt wood and gesso mirror with a stunning crest and the original old mirror glass and wood backing. This fine mirror has beautiful floral accents, acanthus leaves and scroll motifs, antique gilt patina, and lovely aged smoky mirror glass.

- Condition:Repaired: There has been minimal restoration with light touch ups to the gilding. Wear consistent with age and use. Good antique condition with cracks to the gesso frame and crest and minor wear consistent with age; original old mirror glass with heavy foxing which gives the mirror glass a smoky appearance.
