19th Century. French Painted Mirror
About the Item
19th century carved wood & gesso mirror. There are remnants of a gold leaf finish from years ago, but the mirror is white/gray in color. The frame is adorned with finely carved details throughout. The finish is beautifully worn but there are bits of gesso missing throughout. The mirror can hang in either direction depending on your needs.
