19th C Overmantel Gilded Mirror with Light Foxing Antique
About the Item
This antique gilded overmantel mirror is from the 19th century. The gilt wood frame has an arched top with two rows of beading running along the edges, which ends in a French design at the extended base. Some minor chipping of the gold leaf. Original mirror plate has the desirable light foxing. The wood backing looks original and is composed of wood slats; it is not completely covering the back. Please note, this item is located in one of our NYC locations.
