Artistic Mirror Made in Italy, Eugenio Carmi for Acerbis
About the Item
Decorative geometric wall mirror by Italian artist Eugenio Carmi for furniture brand Acerbis. Designed in the 1980s and named "Morphos", this mirror is part of a series that perfectly represents Carmi's artistic approach, with intertwined geometric shapes in bright colors. This style is also very close to that of the "Memphis Group", of which Ettore Sottsass - amongst others - was a member.
Fitted in a black lacquered wood frame, the mirror has two eyelets on the back for hanging. The only signs of time can be found on the frame itself, which can be easily retouched or even replaced - for example with a brushed aluminium one.
