Danish Modernist Handheld Mirror in Sterling Silver & Bog Oak by Axel Salomonsen

About the Item

A rare handheld make-up mirror by Danish Silversmith Axel Salomonsen. It is made from danish Bog Oak or Abonos (3000-8000 years old). Hand finished/sanded with organic soft edges. Its back- or show-side features floral inlays in sterling silver. It is stamped: AS, Sterling, Denmark. Measurements: Length: 25.5 cm, Diameter: 13/11 cm.
