Eclipse Transience Mirror
About the Item
The new Eclipse models of Transience mirrors show the beauty of the natural oxidizing process inherent in mirrors. By accelerating and manipulating this process, the Eclipse models illustrate the various stages of oxidation through a gradient of brown – gold – silver tones.
The Transience Mirrors series reveal different states of oxidation through an accelerated process. Depending on the time that the silver is treated, different colour tones can be achieved.
All mirrors are handmade and the oxidation patterns look slightly different on each piece. This roughness in oxidation, imperfections combined with the clean aesthetics make each piece truly unique and beautiful. Custom sizes are available on request.
