A French Antique Beautifully Carved & Gilt Mirror, Standing over 5.5 Ft Tall
About the Item
A tall French richly carved and gilt mirror from the early 20th century. This large-sized gilded wood mirror features a crest elaborately adorn with a bow-tie, ribbons, arrows and torches, flanked within pine cone finials at each shoulder. An egg and dart molding beautifies the surround with a petite beaded inner surround. Leafy carved volutes anchor each bottom corner. This early 20th century mirror from France, with it's neoclassical inspired design, is a nicely sized piece standing at over 5.5 feet in height.
