Fantastic homage to Pietro Longhi the 18th century venetian painter by ira Yeager (American 1938-2022). Beautifully painted late 19th century carved giltwood wall mirror featuring acanthus sprays. The mirror has antique aged glass with a bust of a gentleman titled "Pietro Longhi 1785" painted with acrylic. The glass is signed Ira Yeager on the back. Provenance: Purchased from the Yeager Gallery in Calistoga, CA. Whimsical piece of functional art from Ira's collection.
