Large 19th C Silver Louis Philippe Mirror with Gilded Mirror Crest
About the Item
Found in France, this large Louis Philippe mirror dates from the 1870s. Silver gilt frame has subtle etched design of leaves and vines, contrasting gold leaf beaded trim on inner edge and giltwood crown with mirrored center. Giltwood details on lower corners. Mirror itself does not appear to be original. Found in France as shown. Unknown maker.
