Large Illuminated Rococo Mirror in Iridescent Ceramic, Italy, 1960s
About the Item
Large mirror made in Italy between the 50s and 60s in the Rococo style.
The shape of the mirror recalls a shell valve.
Each radial rib of this shell is composed of a single ceramic module which also externally reproduces the texture of a real shell with radial ornaments.
The iridescent enamel which it is finished gives it a magical touch and recalls the 70s productions of Tommaso Barbi.
2 light points are kept in the umbo of the shell.
A unique decor element, reworking of the 18th century style.
