A very nice set of a mirror and a pair of scones.
Made in Sweden by Oscar Antonsson for Ystad Brons in the 1930s.
Very nice original condition, no issues!
Made in bronze which has been patinated in green/brown colors.
Measurement:
Mirror, 63cm (24,8 in) x 30cm (11,8 in) x 2cm (0,8 in).
Scones, 29cm (11,4 in) x 9.5cm (3,7 in) x 8cm (3,2 in).
Oscar Antonsson studied to be a sculptor, mainly in Sweden and Italy. He has made sculptures both in marble and in bronze. He is mainly known for designing objects for Ystad Metallindustri in pewter and bronze.
Ystad Metallindustri was founded in 1919. They specialized in making design objects mostly out of bronze and pewter. The company continued to produce hi quality objects until the late 1960s.
