Mirror "Paolo Venini" by Roberto Giulio Rida

About the Item

Single mirror-sculpture "PAOLO VENINI" by Roberto Giulio Rida The mirror consists of a wooden body covered with vintage 1950s opaline glass with a mint green color. Rare glass and color no longer in production. In addition, Roberto Giulio Rida decided to use glass tubes called "bark" made by Venini derived from a 1950s chandelier. The bark glass tubes were specially sectioned and strategically placed to allow the eye a kinetic movement. The decoration made of sectioned glass tubes have a forest-green back mirroring that makes the mirror a real hanging sculpture, in which you can mirror your face. The sculpture-mirror was conceived by Roberto Giulio Rida as a tribute to a great protagonist who in the early 1900s was able to create a Company that made Murano glass art famous in Italy and around the world. The mirror is signed on the back with R.G.RIDA mark in focus and is a unique and unrepeatable specimen. The mirror will be supplied with appropriate packaging for protection and placed inside an elegant fumigated crate for international transport with R.G.RIDA logo.
