Modernist Embossed Leather & Chrome Spiral Form Geometric Mirror by Lorin Marsh
About the Item
This bold and dynamic Modernist Spiral Form Geometric Mirror in Embossed Leather and Chrome is created by Lorin Marsh and originates from the United States during the latter half of the 20th Century. Features a framework composed in rectilinear elements of polished nickel , encircling and moving at angles to create an octagonal shape framing the beveled mirror panel. Slightly beneath the edge of the chrome elements is embossed leather in a rich black hue, balancing the reflectivity of the polished chrome and adding lovely natural texturing to the piece. With an exposed edge of leather at each of the four sides, the shapes achieved push and pull creating depth and a spiral sensation throughout. This lovely mirror will style well in a wide array of spaces and settings, from Mid-Century Modernist to Contemporary and Minimal Interiors. In Excellent Vintage Condition.
