Pair of Early 19th Century Hand-Carved English Bone Oval Mirrors

About

Featured in the 2015 decorator's showcase house, pair of early 19th century hand-carved bone oval mirrors with coats of arms and symbols created for a manor house in England. The mirrors have a French royal motif and they are in the 17th century style, a century prior to Antoinette, that was popular again in the Victoria era of romance and macabre. Exquisite detailing of overlapping leaves and putti shields. It's incredible that these mirrors have survived 200 years in perfect condition as a pair.
