Pair of Large Scale Italian 19th Century Louis XV Style Giltwood Mirrors
About the Item
A spectacular pair of large scale Italian 19th Century Louis XV st. giltwood mirrors. Each mirror has a straight bottom border and top rounded corner moulded giltwood frame. The frames are wonderfully decorated with scrolled foliate garlands that seem to encircle the length of each side. At the top is a very impressive pierced central crown with large acanthus leaves, floral garlands and scrolls that continue down each side. All original gilt.
