Fontanarte è stata fonndata nel 1933 da Lucio Fontana e Gio Ponti.
Successivamente la direzione artistica è stata affidata a Pietro Chiesa e dal 1948 per 2 decenni da Max Ingrand
Questo specchio è stato disegnato e realizzato sutto la direzione artistica di Max Ingrand ed à una versione originale della fine anni 50 forse inizio 60
Le condizioni sono eccellenti in quanto proveniente da una casa di lusso dove era stato originariamente posizionato su un muro del corridoio di ingresso e mai spostati da li per decenni.
