About the Item
A wall mirror fitted to the engine fan blade from a Rolls Royce Avon jet engine, powering the RAF Canberra Nuclear Bomber. Rolls Royce engines are a complex and astonishingly well manufactured: this being one of a number of highly engineered jet fan blades, professionally stripped to the base metal and finished in chrome. A mirror of 25cm diameter has been attached to the central hub. A heavy statement piece and highly versatile. We date the engine blade to circa 1960.
Specification: mirror 25cm diameter, total display 75cm. circa 14.6KG total weight.
