Venetian Sir & Lady Pair of engraved Murano Glass Mirrors Gold Finishes 1900s This pair of Murano glass mirrors, entirely handcrafted by Venetian master glassmakers in the 1900s, is a fine piece of furniture inspired by the elegance and sumptuousness of the ancient Venice. The mirrors, mounted on a wooden frame designated to hang on the wall, are hand-engraved on a silver surface. The first engraving illustrates a lady, the second one a gentleman, both dressed in the clothing and footwear typical of the 15th- and 16th-century Venetian Republic. Engraved curls forming a garland complete the decoration. The mirrors are surrounded by a border of flowers, leaves and curls made of clear glass enriched with gold leaf, which gives it beautiful golden reflections. Add a touch of Italian history and tradition to your home with this work of art that reflects all the mastery of the Venetian ancient glass artists.
