Segments mark systems from a point to another along the space. Lines made of matter, that cross themselves in a tri-dimensional way for supporting, delimiting and containing. The geometry and his equilibrium combine to strongly sense of matter, define the space and create virtual volumes, which can be used into different rooms. Asse Zeta is a combinable system that fit all rooms, suggesting the correct use for itself. The attention for details and the combination of materials make Asse Z very precious. The round disk, made out of brass, becomes a little showroom for personal belongings.
Asse Z can be disassembled, all its components can be put inside a reduced packaging.
Mingardo Ilario founded Mingardo Blacksmith Workshop in 1970, after over twenty years’ experience in the metal processing field.
The production was initially focused on simple blacksmith works for the construction industry. Over the time, it has become more refined, enabling the company to collaborate with internationally renowned companies and architects: from the first collaborations with architect Carlo Scarpa to the more recent commissions for Museo del Novecento in Milan, Parco della Musica in Florence, and Teatro Petruzzelli in Bari.
Over the years, the Workshop has achieved great results, with the production of unique metal products, all hand-wrought by a highly skilled team of specialized artisans. Nowadays, it is highly regarded in the local artisan field for its high-end refined finishing touches and details, and for its know-how.
