About the Item

This Suite Comprises of a Large Gentleman's Wardrobe, a Ladies Wardrobe, Super King Size Bed, Marble Top Commode and a Pair of Marble Top Bedside Cabinets. The Whole of the Suite Being of a Serpentine and Bombe Form, this being the Most Technically Difficult Style of Furniture to Produce, and Having an Array of Marquetry Inlays Consisting of Cherubs, Urns, Floral Decoration, Creeping Vines Etc. Circa 1870 The individual pieces in this bedroom suite, with measurements, are described below: Large Gentleman's Wardrobe being of Bombe and Serpentine Form. Standing upon Cabriole Legs. Having the Best Burr Walnut Veneers and Hand Applied Marquetry Inlays. The Interior of the Wardrobe Having a Fitted Clothes Rail and the Reverse of the Doors Having Mirrors. Please note This Wardrobe is in One Piece (the doors will lift off) So good Access is Required. Size: Height 93" (236cm), Width 57" (145cm), Depth 24" (61cm) The Ladies Wardrobe being of a Bombe and Serpentine Form. Again this Wonderful Wardrobe Features Superb Burr Walnut Veneers and Hand Cut Marquetry Detail. The Interior Having 6 Drop Down Compartments. Size: Height 65" (165cm), Width 44" (112cm), Depth 22" (56cm) The King Size Bed: The Centre Piece of this Suite, Featuring Hand Cut Marquetry Veneers, Burr Walnut and Kingwood Crossbanding. Both the Headboard and Footboard Being of a Bombe Form. The Marquetry Inlays of the Bed Featuring Cherubs, an Urn and Wonderful Scrolling Decoration. Height 59" (150cm), Width 78" 198cm), Depth of Bed 84" (213cm) This item ships disassembled in four parts, and will require reassembly by the buyer after delivery.
