Restored Bauhaus Chromed Tubular Steel Bed with Nightstands from R. Vichr, 1940s
About the Item
This Bauhaus style bed was produced by Rudolf Vichr in the 1940's in Czechoslovakia.
The set consists of a double bed and two suspended bedside tables. The furniture is veneered with two types of wood, the frame is made of chromed tubular steel.
The bed has been restored, lacquered in a satin finish. The mattress base is powder-coated. The chrome is in its original condition, with visible patina.
