19th Century R.J. Horner Aesthetic Movement Faux Bamboo Bed

About the Item

A 19th century American Victorian Aesthetic Movement faux bamboo bed frame by R. J. Horner & Co. made of solid cherry and birdseye maple. All original with amber stained finish and nice aged patina. This bed has a large oval paneled headboard and footboard with openwork turned spindles and large ball finials on the bedposts. Missing the interior slats and a small piece of trim on a side rail. Fits a full-size mattress. (53 inches wide and 75 inches long). Great quality craftsmanship. Circa 1900.
