A vintage Baker Queen Size Mahogany Poster Bed which will be the focal point of any bed room in which it is placed. From the beautifully tapered finials and posts all of the way down to the solid square legs this bed has a great traditional look which gives it a timeless appearance. The attractive mahogany veneers on the headboard lift this bed past the level of commonly found mass produced beds. The bed can be used either with or without the canopy frame. Baker furniture company has been around since 1890 and their master cabinet makers did an outstanding job of combining finely veneered panels with attractive mahogany solid woods in all of their pieces. The Baker Mahogany Poster Bed is timeless in its appearance and the clean lines will help it fit into almost any decor. And the removable finials and posts make it easy to handle and install. Everything on this item is in original, as found, condition. This bed does include the original metal furniture label from the factory, this is fastened to the rear of the headboard. There are some small scrapes and losses which we have tried to show in the photos. As with all antique and used pieces of furniture there will be some small signs of wear and tear but overall this item is in excellent original condition. Measures 67″w x 88″d x 81″h
