About the Item
"Cashmere Couture" is a contemporary textile designer bed. Handmade in Italy and customizable, "Cashmere Couture" is our signature piece, a true made to measure bed. A flame in the fire, heat and ashes, intensity and calm. The orange band of pure silk behind the folds of grey transmits energy and refined intimacy. This headboard is definitely inspired by haute couture as it is characterized by its use of highest quality materials. The folds are padded for firmness and are made of the best Loro Piana cashmere, making it a true luxury bed. Central band in pure silk can be chosen in different colors. The bed consists of a boxspring, split in two, made of perforated multilayer wood base, pocketed springs, a layer of pure Cheviot wool and white wool felter, covered with a white cotton/viscose lining. The boxspring is covered with a white cotton/viscose lining. The bed is upholstered with 100% Loro piana cashmere gray color. Other colors and fabrics are available. The legs are either solid oak or Canaletto walnut. The price refers to a king size bed, but other sizes are available on request. It includes bed and boxspring. It does not include mattress and linens which we sell separately.

Midsummer-Milano is an Italian line of beds, mattresses, small bedroom furniture, pillows, sheets, blankets and throws hand-made from precious materials and defined by a unique style, a recognizable and timeless design, by precious materials and impeccable craftsmanship. Individual pieces relate to each other and, taken together, form a recognizable pattern and a well balanced body. Midsummer-Milano devotes special care to its box springs and mattresses. They are tailor-made according to the needs of each client, using high value natural materials. The best you can find to enjoy a comfortable and restful sleep. Being handmade, each piece is highly customizable to your exact needs and taste. The beds come in any size you want, as do the mattresses and the matching linens. Choose from our signature high sommier with hand-bound springs or a slimmer sommier with spring boxes or an even slimmer bed with a slatted bed base. For the mattresses you can choose your preferred firmness as well as the number of layers and the padding materials: cashmere, silk, bamboo, horse-hair. The decorative pillows are printed one by one: so ask us for your favorite motive and color palette. Even the knitted throws can be customized with your choice of patterns and colors.
