Commissioned for the Savoy hotel in 1905, slept on by such luminaries as Winston Churchill, Giacomo Puccini and Marilyn Monroe, and handcrafted in London to this day. The Nº2 is a masterclass in craftsmanship, comfort and style. The box spring is crafted from pine, hourglass springs and horse tail. It holds your weight, allowing the mattress and topper to provide support and comfort. Our most famous mattress, the Nº2 marries natural materials including curled horse tail and wool with exceptional handcrafted details. Finished with the Savoir HW topper, which adds the essential final layer of comfort to your bed. As you sink into its softness, your feet will be slightly elevated, improving circulation, and therefore, sleep. Only when the maker is satisfied with every element of your bed, do they sign their name on the label. Bed set includes Nº2 box spring base, Nº2 mattress and HW topper. Legs, mattress tensions and ticking color to be customized. Alternative fabric choices and upholstery not included. Available upon request.
