We are delighted to offer for sale this stunning Circa 1950'S Waring & Gillow Burr Walnut bedstead frame with Vono rails retailed through Harrods London with the original Harrods Divan base. A lovely original hand made in England burr Walnut bed frame. The timber grain and colour is sublime, it looks rich and warm in any setting. Waring & Gillow were one of the finest English furniture makers, they originate from Gillows of Lancaster and London. The divan base is the original 1950's, it is distressed and being included for free so no complains on the condition This bed is part of a suite, I have the rest of the set listed under my other items which includes a pair of his and hers wardrobes, a dressing table and stool, side chair, pair of bedside tables and chest of drawers, this sale is for the bed alone The woodwork has been cleaned waxed and polished, it will have the original patina and so on throughout Please note this sale only includes what's pictured, there's no mattress or divan base as the new owners usually want to buy their own new Dimensions Height:- 138cm headboard, 68.5cm footboard Depth:- 143cm Length:- 209cm Inside Dimensions Divan base height:- 31cm Depth:- 137cm Length:- 196cm Please note all measurements are taken at the widest point.
