Traditional Single Victorian Brass and Iron Antique Bed in Faded Gold
About the Item
A traditional single Victorian brass and iron antique bed in hand-painted faded gold, with tarnished brass top rail, brass collars and round knobs.
This fine original antique bed from the late Victorian era has attractive castings, which have been accentuated by the hand-paint finish, and original aged brass. The brass does show signs of age in places with dents but we think these add to the character of the piece.
This bed takes a standard UK single 3ft wide x 6ft 3in long base and mattress, but will take a US twin 38 inch wide base and mattress with a slaight overlap.
The price includes a firm base.
The mattress, bedding and bed linen are not included, but can be purchased for an additional cost.
