About the Item

Art Deco vintage pair of nightstands or small chests or commodes from walnut Vienna 1930s. While the wonderful nightstands show a lively play of walnut veneer and solid walnut in a warm brown color, backside from plywood, the doors feature a round button from bakelite as handle. The sphere is a symbol of elegance and also a pleasure to touch it. Slightly curved rounded edges with stepped details give it an extraordinary look. The interior from the lower section consists of one shelf while the oval like upper part has two sliding clear glass doors. An amazing feature by one nightstand is a secret compartment. Gorgeous play with geometric shapes forms these nightstands to something special, which enrich spaces in a sophisticated design way. Cleaned, refinished some times ago and ready to live and enjoy.
