About the Item

We are delighted to offer for sale this very fine pair of hand carved, Burr Walnut with Satinwood linings, side tables with heavily carved cabriolet legs and mirrored top butlers slip serving trays, which are part of a large suite This pair are part of a large bedroom set, I have in total a pair of wardrobes, a dressing table with trifold mirrors and a matching stool, a pair of bedside tables with mirror topped serving shelves and lastly a pair of bed frames, this sale is for the piece mentioned above only, the others are listed under my other items These side tables are really super decorative, they look good in a bedroom or living room setting, each one has a mirror topped butlers slip serving tray, the idea being you can either have drinks and snacks served by your butler there or leave it out for jewellery and accessories for dressing They are as mentioned, the finest quality I have ever seen for this type of furniture, they truly are a master class of craftsmanship, when describing them, I honestly don’t know where to begin, they are made using fine cuts of burr walnut, the legs and all of the external pieces of decoration are hand carved, the internals are satinwood lined, these tables easily weight three times more than a standard piece of this type Condition wise we have deep cleaned, hand condition waxed and hand polished it, there may be age and use related patina marks here and there, as far as I can see there is nothing negative to note and its in fine order Dimensions Height:- 76cm Width:- 48cm Depth:- 42cm, with butlers tray extended 64.5cm Please note all measurements are taken at the widest point. This item is available for collection from our Pulborough warehouses. CONDITION Please view the very detailed pictures as they form part of the description pertaining to the condition. Please note vintage period and original items such as leather seating will always have natural patina in the form of creasing and wear, we recommend annual waxing to ensure no moisture is lost, also hand dyed leather is not recommended to sit in direct sunlight for prolonged periods of time as it will dry out and fade.
