About the Item

A pair of Italian Mid-Century hand-painted nightstands or small chest of drawers in solid oak wood in Venetian style. These vintage highly hand decorated night-tables or small chest of drawers has each five small drawers inside that can be used as bedside commodes. This pair has the exact same measurements, but the floral decoration is purposely a bit different to give a more artistic touch on them. The pair is "walk around", meaning they are free-standing in a place in a room by a sofa or armchairs, having the back also painted. Born in Italy in the mid-20th century, hand-crafted in timeless 18th Century Neoclassical inspired Louis XV taste or rococo style. Working locks and each have an own key to lock them, with cabriole legs, have brass feet decorations and are from the early post 2nd World War Italy.
