About the Item

Three African iron currency blades or swords currency from the Topoke peoples from the Democratic Republic of Congo which are nicely presented upon a custom metal stand. Such blades were used by various tribal groups in the Democratic Republic of Congo as a form of currency. They were used to close a variety of important transactions The swords are decorated with a central edge and incised grooves around the edge. very decorative set which match perfectly into a modern or old decoration Beautiful patina and in very good condition The dimensions correspond to the size of the largest sword with its base As the swords don't take a lot of space without the base, we can organize worldwide shipping at a reasonable price;
