Plane Sculpture - Shelf Decor
Decorate your living room, bedroom or mancave in style with this huge model of the Douglas DC-3 - the most iconic aircraft of the Twentieth century, the model that laid the bases for commercial aviation and air freight transport as we know them today. Manufactured in thousands of examples for civilian and military use, many DC-3's are still operating today, making them some of the longest-lived planes in history.
Imposing in Size and richly detailed, this model can be hang to the ceiling or displayed on the included, mirror-polished metal stand. It has a brushed metal finish, true to the original naked body of the plane, and even shows the tiny rivets that characterise the actual plane.
The propeller, landing gear and windshield are all functional, and add to the realism of the model. The proportions and unmistakable design of the DC-3 are perfectly rendered, and make this a true collectors' piece that will turn on any enthusiast.
