1 Volume. Frederic Masson, Napoleon and the Fair Sex. Bound in 3/4 red morocco and marbled boards by Hatchards. Raised bands gilt with panels displaying hearts and arrows, Napoleonic wreaths, and bee emblems as well as label lettering in gilt. The top edge is gilt with marbled endpapers. First English translation. Illustrated with a portrait frontispiece of Napoleon as well as 9 plates of his various amours. Published by William Heinemann in London, 1894.
