DESCRIPTION: FIRST EDITION. 3 vols., 11-15/16" x 9-7/8", small folio, with over 1,100 illustrations from drawings by the author and from photographs, bound in fine full light brown morocco, ribbed gilt decorated spines, covers ruled and paneled in gilt, gilt dentelles, marbled pastedowns and endpapers, all edges gilt, by Sangorski & Sutcliffe, gilt leather bookplate of W. A. Foyle Beeleigh Abbey to pastedowns.
CONDITION: Internally clean and bright, inner and outer hinges fine, head and foot of spines fine, no ownership markings or inscriptions, OVERALL VERY GOOD.
