A three-volume series, housed in its original slipcase. Reprinted by the Antique Collectors’ Club in 1984, first published by Country Life magazine in 1955. Softback. A rare collector’s piece, the English Country Houses series has been a continuing success. These titles have been out of print for many years and command a high price on the antiquarian market. This series narrates the development of English domestic architecture while providing copious amount of the most notable examples. Lavishly illustrated in black and white photographs and artfully rendered floor design graphs. A must-have for gorgeous Georgian architecture connoisseurs.
