The Life of Benvenuto Cellini in 2 volumes. Published: 1906 by Brentanos. Top edges gilt. Cellini (1500-1571) was an Italian Renaissance goldsmith, sculptor, and author whose most famous works include the bronze statue of Perseus holding the head of Medusa which now stands in Florence. Bound in blue leather with gilt-tooled spines, marbleized boards and endpapers, gilt top edges.
