About the Item
This is a vintage LIPS locks trade catalogue. An English, folio of fixtures and fittings for Nicholls & Clarke builders merchants, dating to the mid 20th century, circa 1935.
Established in 1871 by Jacobus Lips (Dutch, 1847 - 1921), the eponymous LIPS range of locks are featured in this trade catalogue for the builders merchants Nicholls & Clarke Ltd of London. A generational family business, Nicholls & Clarke formed in 1875 and continue to supply building materials and tiles as a national chain in the United Kingdom.
