Art Deco Brown Genuine Cord Ladies Handbag, 1930
About the Item
For your consideration is this super stylish "Arvey" Genuine Corde bag in chocolate brown with original change purse. Three gold tone bars across the front flap with a good snap closure. Brown faille lining with one pocket. Has a small strap like a wrist-let. Condition is as good as you could hope for with a bag of this age, free from any stains, rips, odors, loose threads etc or any of those unsightly distracting marks.
Wonderfully stylish Art Deco hand bag for the lady who likes that extra individuality. Very simplistic in its design but that's what gives it's sophistication. Dating to the late 1930s-1940s this bag is a real beauty for the collector. Measures 13 1/8" from bottom to top of strap. Handbag without strap measures 8" tall. Measures 5 3/8" at the top of the flap. 8" wide at the bottom. 3 1/2" deep. Bottom measures 8" x 3 1/2".
