MID CENTURY WOVEN AND TEXTURED 14K YELLOW GOLD BRACELET Designed by POM, circa 1960s Item # 011PNW15A A delightful and most elegant mid-century bracelet executed entirely in 14k yellow gold, this little bracelet is rather substantial at 24.4 grams and is most complex with alternating high polish and relief-beaded woven bands that wrap endlessly to create the form. The ends are secured with the original 1965 patented spring-tongue box clasp with safety catch designed by Geldwerth Simon, the patent for this cold-stamped faintly on the underside of the tongue ("3303517"). An absolutely gorgeous piece with a refined sense of playfulness that made POM's designs so popular during the period. Specifications: *Composition: 14K Yellow Gold *Markings: "POM R" (in triangle); "14K"; "3303517" (very faint on tongue of clasp) *Dimensions: 7 1/4" long (on wrist) x 3/8" W *Age: Circa 1960s *Total Weight: 24.4 grams *Condition: Excellent. Minor patina tarnish to edge of clasp box from solder; typical minor rubbing to tongue of clasp. Polished and in very fine condition.
