Paul Flato. An 18-karat gold and gilt 1866 Mexican Peso pendant watch.
Signed Paul Flato, Imperio Mexicano, circa 1970 rare find with original Flato box! Mechanical lever movement, 17 jewels, skeletonized gilt dial, chapter ring with Roman numerals surrounded by crown supported by two griffins, swag engraved Equidad en la Justicia, snap on back, with Aztec calendar stone, coin-edged band, marked 18k gold pendant or brooch with Mexican Imperial Coat of Arms, pendant signed Flato.
Very fine estate condition. Case is free of any notable scratches.
Crystal is exceptionally clear and free of chips. Watch winds and is running
but has not been timed for accuracy.
